Apple began rolling out iOS 27 for users here in Australia as of this week. This software is available for compatible iPhone models. To get the update, launch Settings. Then select General. Then choose Software Update. The phone will scan for the update and list it if the device is supported. Not all older devices will get iOS 27. The launch date for iOS 27 is September 14, 2026. So the release is underway now. A number of iPhone users will spot the update straight away. Others are not eligible. The result depends on the handset.
