US President Donald Trump has pushed Ukraine to choose new leadership, saying Volodymyr Zelenskyy should reach an agreement with Russia to stop the fighting.
Trump also blamed Zelenskyy for increases in diesel prices in the United States, warning Kyiv to halt attacks on Russian oil refineries he says are set to provide American fuel.
The statements came on 10 October 2026, the same day Britain's Prime Minister held a separate phone call with Zelenskyy, according to the UK government.
